Hadn't heard from Flash in some time, (our Open House last December!), and received this message a few days ago:

The family was down for a memorial this weekend at the house, which was nice, if somewhat tough to get through for Kirsten and her sisters. Terrific to chat last night. Again, sincere condolences.

As I mentioned, Cactus and Donna Florida will be arriving on Wednesday, July 6th, in Bellingham. We'll collect them and they'll have a day or so in town to look around before we leave for the Okanagan, with Flamin' and Sarge, for 8th/9th/10th, returning to Vancouver on Monday, 11th. That night or the 12th would probably work for a get-together, or potentially Thursday, 14th, depending on the VI sojourn. Grogg is over next Thursday/Friday and I'll quiz him about their stay, as well as sending Berkeley folks an email to see what they think they'd like to do about that part of visit.

Not sure what your family plans for Canada Day happen to be but you are more than welcome to join us for The Harbour Terrace Block Party! Your girls could play at water park and have their faces painted while their Father sips malt! Anyway, feel free to drop in even if you have other commitments. Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizio!

Just wondering if you have decided when you want to go to VI, how long you will stay, etc. Folk Fest starts on Friday evening, July 15th, so imagine you could return as late as that afternoon, should you want to do so. Give dates in question some thought and let us know what you imagine itinerary to be.
