IIDD, June 22nd

Dear Polygamisti et al!

The stagecoach was never never held-up, by Yosemite Sam, or any other dang varmint. The act of acquiring the books was literally like taking candy from a baby, perhaps even easier. Gen. Chiang Kai Shek's tats are not even real, just henna approximations of those worn by Hong Kong's illegal Tong members, to demonstrate their affiliation and intimidate outsiders. All I had to do was stare coldly into Bourbon Boy's corn syrup flushed face and he could hardly hand over the books I wanted quickly enough, whining and sniveling, "Sorree, Kind Sir! Please don't beat me! Sorree!", all the while! Cheers, Il Conductore!

Hi again, MilTONG!

You can dream but reality will forever elude you! Cheers, The Ghost of Yosemite Sam!

Dear Lord, if I had one wish, it would be to get that no-good Il Conductore,
and get 'im good!

Chiang KS Jr.

Hi Simone!

Glad things are working out well with respect to your house. Trip to Ireland sounds terrific. We enjoyed Dublin immensely last October.

Had a very pleasant ride out to Steveston today. I accompanied Barnacle Bill, (Ragin' Bull/Branko Peric), as he had to return his access pass to the marina where he had spent the last three weeks working on his boat while it was in dry dock there. Almost perfect day so ride was very pleasant. We took the UBC/S W Marine Drive route and had 40K on odometer by time we reached marina. After returning access card, we cycled into Steveston itself and enjoyed java at Bean and Beyond. I had a capuccino and white chocolate/cherry biscotti and enjoyed both very much.

Refreshed and energized, we set off for home, taking #6 Road, CSTB and Cambie Street to 8th and Cambie where Ragin's stopped at the liquor store to purchase a six pack of Corona. I dipsy-doodled and met him under the Cambie Street Bridge, near the Seawall, five minutes later. We rode back to the marina where he docks The Inland Passage and I waved goodbye. Now that he is back in our neck of the woods, he'd like to be part of our regular riding group.

I continued on to our place and then headed back towards Science World as I wanted to log 100K. By time I was close to end of False Creek I had 85K on odometer so I continued on around north side of False Creek all the way to the inuksuk at English Bay. Turned around there and made my way home for 101K by time I was back at Harbour Terrace. Found Cora Lee watching The Young and the Restless! I had a shower and as soon as her soap was over she started working on deck furniture. She has, autocratically, decided to paint the teak. I am opposed to this but there is no rational argument possible with The Sisterhood! Even Maggie is on her side and is using hthe tip of her tail to paint the hard to get at places on the furniture!

Cheers, Patrizio!

Pics: Taken in Squamish on the Sunday of the Victoria Day long weekend, at the home of friends Ruth/Rick Toews. Jasmine's barking alerted us to the presence of bear!

Hello Fridge Magnet Fans!

Fortunately, both bears were female and obviously cannot resist the allure, and sheer magnetism, of an Iro-Ukrainian. You see what the spin-offs can be from having an industrial strength fridge magnet collection! Don't scoff! If Agneta can send reiki vibes out across the globe, why doubt that fridge magnets can project their power onto the owner/possessor of said magnets!!

Cheers, Ursine Magnet Patrizio!

Hi Prickly Pear and Donna Florida!

So chastised, I have expunged, or at least put on the back burner, your UCAL Library email address, and will now only correspond with Gmail, you G Man, even if California cannot afford to pay its state employees with worthless Yankee $$$'s!!!

Here is Grogg's current email address, (For one who is so persnickity about email addresses, I would have thunk that you would have it already!):

gfdawe@shaw.ca

Have confoimed July 11th with Flash!

Have you thought about a book for group reading on junket to Okanagan? Please submit a list, in triplicate, and we will consider your selezziones! Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizio/aka An Ever So Contrite Conduttore!

PS: Need to chat about hootch. It may well be just as economical to buy wine at Trader Joe's in Bellingham, as opposed to you muling any from California. Unless, that is, there is something you truly wish to bring. Chatagge anon!

Hi Casa Vicente Aerodrome!

Marcus isn't a cat, he's a Flying Squirrel!

Thought you might like to see what happens to you after you go on a cycling tour! Your thirst increases exponentially! Of course, Vincenzo's thirst is already beyond exponential Cheers, Patrizio!
