IIDD, June 12th

Hi Kids!

Glad rain has stopped! Great day yesterday, in spite of forecast which predicted rain. Clocked 87K, UBC Loop, by time I was back. This morning, Whirlygig, Raymundo and Mike Carter met at our place and we rode around Stanley Park. Very cool and cloudy. Again, not in forecast. Mike peeled off at MacDonald to go home, (His bottom was sore as he has just started to cycle with his new bike, less than a week old!), while rest of us continued on to UBC and on to Marine. Ray headed back at Crown while Whirlygig and I did Wesbrook Loop and then back down Foreshore Hill. I left Giorgio at MacDonald and 3rd and returned to Young's to do shopping for Book Club Bridge domani, 71K on clock, 78K by time I was home.

Just had time for a quick java and shower when Rosemary and Andre popped by for java, just past 2:00pm. They have been very busy with one thing and another so this was only time we could get together. Cora Lee was downtown trying to organize Friends of VPL office so she arrived a few minutes later. Had a good visit. They asked after you two. Rosemary will return to England next Wednesday. Andre seems much recovered and hopes to join her in France in a week or two, once he has go ahead from his dottore.

Denise just knocked on our door. She is here all weekend to try and sell what they don't want. Ken arrives later, next week, by bus. They will take what they don't sell back by rented van/truck. Apparently, new owner is a single woman. An artist from California. That's all Denise knows as she's never even talked to her! Other than the fact that she doesn't drive so who knows about parking spot!

Time for shouldares on floor in living room to watch Canucks/Bruins! Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizio!
