Enjoy! Martha.

Hi Martha!

Sorry we missed seeing you at Artemis in Deep Cove yesterday! Nevertheless, really enjoyed viewing your work via your website. Do I detect a certain "Mexican" influence in some of the latest paintings? Some of the motifs, (hearts, animal skull, image of saint, etc.), reminded me of many of the pieces of folk art we came across, and enjoyed immensely, when in Guayabitos, Ajijic and San Miguel de Allende last January-March. All the best. Cheers, Patrizio!

IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR OUR ANNUAL WINTER OPEN HOUSE!

DATE: Saturday, December 10th
TIME: 11:00 to 4:00

Hope you can drop by for a relaxing afternoon among the barrels. We'll be showcasing our 2010 wines which were recently released, as well as barrel sampling some of the longer-aged versions of those same wines. Of course, there will be something warm and tasty to sample while you're here, and we might even get Dave to dress up as Santa (do they make red tank tops trimmed in white fur?).

If you've ordered 2010 wine and haven't already received it, the open house is an excellent time to join the party and pick up your wine at the same time. And for those of you too far away to drop by, this is also a great time to submit your shipping request so that we can get your 2010 wines to you before the holidays. The shipping form is at https://coffaro.com/shop/shippingform.html. Please note that your order will not be shipped until we hear from you.

Can't make it on the 10th but have some 2010 wine to pick up? We'll miss the chance to entertain you, but you may drop by any day from now until June of 2012. We are open daily 11:00 to 4:00, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day, and this year, we will be closed the Christmas holiday weekend.

Hope to see you at the Winter Open House! Pat and Dave Coffaro

Hi Pat and David!

Trust all goes well! Would dearly love to attend your December Open House but don't think we'll be heading south until after the end of May, 2012, at the earliest! Busy times, currently and ahead, with all sorts of things, some medical, some travel related.

Chloë is doing reasonably well after having her tonsils removed this past Monday. Unfortunately, she really hasn't been able to sleep much and has herself propped up in a recliner, dozing in front of the TV. Her throat is extremely sore, as she knew it would be. Few days ago when I looked in, (She has been staying at her grandparent's place, next door, ever since they left last April. Clarisse and Dusty arrive on November 15th so we'll have to re-nest over next few days!), she was complaining of being feverish so I literally pulverized some Extra Strength Tylenol to see if that would help bring her temperature down. Her throat is so constricted and raw that swallowing is agony. She has a prescription for Tylenol 3 for pain but those pills don't really address her fever. Glad to report that she slept for six hours last night and seems to be on the mend now.

Last Wednesday, I finally met with with the shoulder specialist. At just before 8:00am, Cora Lee dropped me off, (I should have ridden but I thought it was going to rain harder than it did, at least when I walked back home over Burrard Bridge.), at St Paul's where I was examined by a resident and then orthopaedic surgeon, Jeffrey Pike. Quite liked him and he has suggested the least invasive orthoscopic procedure, (Day surgery, in and out, to tidy up joint. Don't have a "frozen" right shoulder. I'm suffering from same osteoarthritis that afflicted my hip), with an initial recovery of about 6 weeks, (pretty active with appropriate exercises, almost immediately, once arm is out of a sling, week or two, I gather), no lifting or pulling anything for three months! Not sure how this will play with our coming holiday at the beginning of March. Of course, Cora Lee could tote all the bags and discover what it is like to be a sherpa, role we usually play for The Sisterhood!

Don't have date yet but am on the "cancellation" list as well. Short notice, surgical standby! Will just have to play things by ear but if I don't have procedure before mid-January, at latest, I think I'll just have to wait until we return at end of May, beginning of June. Drag, of course, is that one is probably further and further down list. Anyway, at least I have seen the specialist and know what is in store for me. He said I don't really have any restrictions and should continue with shoulder exercises prescribed by physio to help strengthen muscles but physio itself will not improve anything. Given this diagnosis, I plan to start swimming again, now that cycling is becoming increasingly problematic with rain and ice!

In mid-December, Cora Lee is scheduled to have corrective surgery on her right foot. First three toes are "wandering" and need to be re-aligned. You may well know that this is a very painful operation to recover from. She certainly does as she underwent similar surgery about ten years ago! She's already bought five new books on cross-stitching as she will be unable to do much for at least six weeks! Maggie is the only one who is delighted with the prospect of having Cora Lee sitting in an armchair, next to fireplace, a guaranteed lap available for prolonged cat naps! Little does Coriandre know but I plan to seek revenge for her less than attentive nursing after I had my hip replaced in April 2010. She confiscated the small dinner bell I'd use to summon "nurse" after but one or two uses of my only form of communication with the outside world!  Never get angry, just get even! Fortunately for her, Clarisse and Dusty arrive on November 15th so I'm sure she'll have her Mom making all her favourite foods to speed her recovery! Not completely sure, however. When Cora Lee was in grade school, Clara insisted that she wear her galoshes as it was very icy, one winter day. Already the fashionista, Coriandre refused to put on the unsightly footwear and, subsequently, managed to fall and break her arm! In Emergency, she received little, if any sympathy from her very annoyed mother: "CORINNE, I told you so! Stop wailing!!!"

As I alluded, above, we are leaving for about three months, on March 5th. 2012. We will fly to Hong Kong for five nights. Have never been and so wanted to explore our first bit of Asia. On March 11th we will fly to Sydney to spend a little less than a week before Sarge arrives on March 16th. We will rent a car there and drive to Melbourne to collect Flamin', there on points, on March 17th. Leaving on the 22nd/23rd, next will be to Adelaide, cross-country, via Clare and Barossa, to arrive in the city on the 25th, to stay with Tina and Trevor. From Adelaide, probably leaving on the 29th, we'll either head south to McLaren Vale and then along the coast back towards Melbourne, in order to visit the Mornington Peninsula, below Melbourne, or make our way back to Sydney, via Yarra and Rutherglen. Once in Sydney, April 2nd, we will stay for best of a week and then drive north, April 7th, via Hunter Valley, paralleling coast, stopping on the Gold Coast, April 10th/11th, to stay with friends, Elly/Tony, we met in France last September, and then next into Brisbane itself, 14th/15th, for some time with Clare/Gregg, other couple travelling with E/T.

Once stay in Brisbane comes to an end, April 18th, we'll turn in car and fly to Cairns for a little less than a week. At this point, not sure where Cora Lee and I will make for as we will still have a bit more than a couple of weeks in Oz before heading to Japan, from Sydney, May 11th. F/S will fly to Melbourne and Sydney, (April 22nd), respectively, to return to Vancouver, next day. Whether we manage to visit Darwin or return to Sydney and/or Canberra has yet to be worked out. In japan will will spend roughly half our time with former ESL boarder, Toshi, staying with her and her mother, in Osaka. After that, plan to make our way to Sapporo to visit with another former boarder, Izumi. Still have to work out many of the details of this part of trip. This will be our fifth visit to Australia so pretty much, in a very real sense, like traveling to California by now!

Interestingly enough, friends, Kathleen and Steve, from Melbourne, will be staying with us from December 7th-14th, as they will be in Canada for a month over Christmas. Tina and Trevor will be here to ski again, (Trevor earlier than Tina as she is off to Vietnam first to attend the high school graduation of her foster daughter.), so we will connect before we leave ourselves. In fact, we will be in Australia, although not Adelaide, before they return.

Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizio!

Pics: Cora Lee and Flamin' last Saturday; Cora Lee, suffering from too, too much Knob Creek Bourbon, bottom corner of cabinet. For her part, Maggie couldn't be happier! (Lest you think I'm inordinately cruel, Chloë took picture! (Parenthetically, Corinne slept next door, the first night after Chloë's surgery as there is a possibility of bleeding, etc. About 3:00am, Chloë shook her mom awake and said; "Please go back to your place. Without your wind-tunnel snoring I'll have a better sleep!" Ungrateful kids today!!!

Hi Big Al!

Great to have you and Marcus Aurelius along for part of ride. Trust you all made it back to Burnaby without incident. Pick-up looked as if it had had a number of run ins with stanchions of one sort or another, over the years!!!

As you know, we continued on to Steveston and then back to CSTB, via #6 Road. Dropped Raymundo off at his place at close to 1:30pm or so, and Giorgio shortly thereafter, with about 81K on odometer. It was such a glorious day and I felt so exhilarated, as a direct result, I knew I could easily log over 100K. Used last 20K or so as my cool-down, doing 5K worth of dipsy-doodleage around Kits Point, enjoying leaves and vista of English Bay and then made foe Science World and beyond, turning around at Davie and Marinaside to make for home, arriving just after 3:00pm with 101.33K to show for grand outing.

On Friday, Cora Lee and I drove out to Deep Cove. We were supposed to meet artist friend, Martha Jablonsky-Jones, (www.marthajonesart.com), at Artemis gallery there. Cora Lee's friend, Robyn, and a patron of Martha's, donated, via a charity trust she administers, money for a picture, (see attachment), to be used at a fund raiser for Friends of VPL. Some crossed Sisterhood wires and gallery wasn't open nor Martha anywhere in sight! Didn't stop Cora Lee from buying three Christmas outfits at Mystic Clothes, (or something like that), a shop kitty corner to gallery. Woman who owned store was very friendly and while we were waiting learned that she had worked in film industry, for many years. Like you she found it very tiring, crazy work schedule, etc. Long shot but I mentioned your name anyway. Unfortunately, for me, fortunately, for you, she hadn't heard of Big Molly otherwise I might have mentioned stanchion episode!!!

At any rate, I was pleased to drive there, through Indian reservation, as I think it would be a terrific ride, when weather cooperates. (Hadn't been there for years, ever since friends, [Agneta was there with her second husband, Brian, at one time.), who lived in Deep Cove moved/split-up.) We could meet you and Marcus at Cassiar/Hastings and proceed over Second Narrows. Some good hills and probably not too, too much traffic, depending on time/day of the week. Anyway, always good to expand cycling repertoire.

Cheers, Patrizio!

Hey Patrizio!

Bridge at our place for a change? Potluck. With Dusty and the riveter we can invinte Legs and the Penguin which would make 2 tables. With your prizes and ours I am sure everyone will be very excited to attend. Let's pick a date.

Bali was unbelievable and the group of 41 got along very well. Very humid but the places we stayed in were all 4 and 5 star. Taiwan extension also an interesting visit. Once in a lifetime visit though as can't see going back (you never know), especially that distance at our age. Charlie

Now that I think of it, maybe Legs has gone to Big Apple.

Hi Carlos!

As soon as Durstons arrive I'll try to come up with a few possible dates and we'll accept your gracious invitation! Legs isn't off to The Big Apple yet so she and The Penguin should be around. If not Ragin' Bull and Kerry could always fill in! Cheers, Patrizio!

Hello! Just wanted you to know about two upcoming craft shows!

Details on my blog at http://inside-outstyleanddesign.blogspot.com

Hope to see you there! Deborah P.S. Both shows are a great place to start stocking up on seasonal gifts.

Hi Deborah!

Trust you are well. You seem busy if your upcoming craft shows are any indication! Cheers, Patrizio!

Wonderful to hear! I wonder what Duty Free Single Malt you'll bring back for Maggie!!!
Hola! I had written this before we left and now we are home and I have a
whole another story because the ship did not go to PV because of a hurricane
scare so we ended up flying to Dallas and staying a night then flying to PV
and did stay until the 7th of Nov and so just arrived back home this week.
It was very hot and humid but loved it anyway. I thought I had sent this to
you but just found it in my draft items- go figure. Hope all is well with
you both and will talk soon Wendy

    Hola Wendy!

Great to know you survived the hurricane! Our friend, Agneta, is back in Guayabitos. Wonder if you bumped into her as she flew down in late October, I think. Any plans to come into Vancouver over next little while? If so, we'd love to see you both. Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizio!

Hi Pat.  I just today got your message from classmates.com, that you send 3 1/2 years ago, lol.  I hope this reaches you!

    (Hi Andrew!

Trust you are well. Have you been in touch with any of our other classmates? I bumped into Jim Newton's wife in Winnipeg this past July and now have his email. I'm retired and enjoying life. Just recently returned from about six weeks in Cyprus, (where I spent first nine years of my life), Greece, Croatia and Switzerland. Still live in Vancouver, quite close to Granville Island, if you know it. You can reach me at pdunn@interchange.ubc.ca, 604-734-9200. All the best. Cheers, Patrick!)

I am well, still living in Winnipeg, still working part time as a substitute teacher.  I am not in touch regularly with any old classmates, but exchange emails from time to time with Ron and Andrea Kawchuk (Andrea Malyk) and Richard Howard.  I used to be in contact with Erika Kinn and should phone her again but she's never home.

If you want to write, that would be great.  I am also on Facebook although I rarely post. Thanks for writing. Andrew

    Dear Taskmaster

Not content with losing cycling friends through putting them through excessive distance I see that you are taking them out on icy roads, full of distractions to say nothing of the dangers of distant Burnaby and its residents. To this you are adding the dangers of cycling in the dark when no doubt you spend the time peering into the odometer rather than on the road ahead. Yesterday when I was cycling on a four foot wide bridleway I had to take rapid avoidance action when I was nearly run into by a lycra clad rider who was studying his mileage and speed and maybe his email with his head down.

I have traced the outline of your ride via the web and am puzzled that this is your first foray into these parts despite the long time you have lived in Vancouver. Is this the equivalent of my riding into the Harehills district of Leeds?. Canada would never have been settled with this shrinking attitude. I notice you try and persuade me of your adventurous spirit by mentioning  solitary cayote but I am not impressed having seen several bears on my short adventure. On the subject of wolves, killer whales, dangers of Arctic and Antarctic look forward to the new Planet series with David Attenborough- fantastic camera work. A bit brutal at times when the wolves and killer whales hunt down their prey in packs. So far the polar bears have drawn a blank and the musk oxen retaliating against the wolves was a highlight.

Restricted to exercise bike yesterday after our week-end in Norfolk spent mostly eating, drinking and talking. I was offered Evensong but reluctantly gave it a miss in favour of getting ready for Downton Abbey. We shall be interested to see how this series goes down with you. You will have guessed by my tone that there is a feeling that this series was rushed out and the critics are not so impressed with the story lines. A Christmas special has been filmed and a third series has been commissioned. As you probably know Spooks is finished and I have made no inroads into the box set of Spooks, kindly loaned to me, because of the homework assignments.

Reason for my absence from the bridleways of Wetherby and West and North Yorkshire was not the frost but the damp although some parts of the country did have the benefits of blue skies but early morning frosts.

Since we are in the era of 360 degree assessment ( or some such term) I feel I must criticise you for your many indulgences . I have said little about your excessive consumption of food and alcohol but now I hear you are watching beauty pageants and the new Chippindales. I can see where this is leading and do not approve. Please let me know what steps you are taking to show that your cycle training is for serious preparation for events and not merely to balance your bodily abuse. Please also get out one of your earlier exercise books and swot up on the ratios of leagues, miles, fathoms etc etc as I am getting confused as to how far you are really cycling though the distances appear to be decreasing. I was surprised to see that you have been taking notice of the cafe franchises around the city.

Now I am well through some of my environmental texts( summed up by more money from the consumer for less energy availability with potential for scams for the political elite) I am reading "Be your best at Triathlon" . This is nothing to do with the two Brownlee brothers being Britain's best triathletes( and also from nearby Leeds but obviously not related) but having mastered cycling and running I feel I should attempt one length crawl at Kitsilano if I return. Talking of swimming you have never informed me of dear Imre.

The novel The Trinity Six just about passed muster for me- not let down by the story ending and not too much superfluous narrative. I have been loaned a hard back book called "Berlin" about 1945 etc I believe. I am receiving assignments from many directions but am trying to keep my head above water with the help of the afore mentioned book.

As for retrieving loot from reporting me to my alma maters I see there is little in it for you since when I attended University firstly I did as a "commoner" and not a scholar and secondly it was so long ago that despite interest it would hardly pay for a night of your indulgences.

To be frank and boring I did receive an industrial scholarship from the Electricity Authorities which meant I was quite comfortable at University and was no drag on my parents or the state- those were the days.Given the restructuring of the Electricity Industry most sold off to overseas owners I see little chance of your recovering this possibly wasted outlay. Fortunately we have avoided the current  fees with Laura and Rich having finished ten years ago.

The dominos of the EU appear to be in danger of falling . Despite the problems of Greece and now Italy we look like suffering a series of public sector strikes by the unions- even the head-teachers have voted to strike- I only hope the government is prepared to stand firm. Your comment about "what about the workers" leads me to ask which workers, private or public sector in regard to Britain?

Still grey and damp here but managed 30k yesterday and will try some junior fartlek this morning- not quite like Zatopek. I hear the rattle of the exercise bike and some singing coming from the garage before Christine heads off on a mentoring assignment.

Only two weeks to the Canaries visit. Tenerife seemed far too hilly for cycling unlike Lanzarote where there is a promenade extending over 10k to ride up and down at Playa Blanca. I think I need a new pair of skimpies for my triathlon training.

Failed miserably to upload photos from weekend restaurant while working on this email- will try again later.

Good luck with the curling and I hope you still have some surviving friends with whom to cycle.
    Best wishes Jim

    Hello Circumnavigator!

Delighted to note, Boy, that you have made considerable progress in the "Needs to spend more time and energy completing assignments", category! As a reward for such swotting improvement you will be allowed to spend five pence at the Tuck Shop, after Vespers on Sunday!

Given rain shrouded days we have been experiencing, of late, more than pleased to learn that forecast for this past Thursday was going to be precipitation free. This being the case, we decided to cobble together a group ride. I suggested that we meet at the foot of the Cambie Sky Train Bridge, just off Kent, and make our way to Iona and then Steveston. Whether Burnaboids would cycle to rendezvous point, or not, was left to their own collective wisdom. Given that MD is usually not all that pleasant to ride along, during the week, what with all the trucks, etc., rest of us agreed to use Cypress, meeting at sub-station just off Arbutus/King Ed at 10:00am. Was not sure about frost, hence later starting/meeting times for this junket.

Marcus Aurelius and Big Molly, did ride all the way from Burnaby and made CSTB with one minute to spare, and we set off for Iona. Ironically, it was warmer than some of the days we had experienced in June, of all things, and we sped along, towards Iona, reveling in almost unbelievable fall day, north shore mountain peaks dusted with a light sprinkling of snow. Lads took a break for water and light snacks while Robo Ray and I circled. Put on an extra 2K before laggards were ready to move on. As it turned out, Big Molly had arranged to meet a friend at Macdonald Beach, about half-way to Iona, where chap was walking his dog. He had a pick-up and was planning to return some welding equipment he'd borrowed from Big Al. Marcus Aurelius decided to return to Burnaby with them, unwilling to contemplate the Steveston segment of planned ride. Nevertheless, great to have the two  along for part of ride. As we waved goodbye,  hoped they would make it back to Burnaby without incident. Pick-up looked as if it had had a number of run-ins with stanchions of one sort or another, over the years!!!

Stalwarts continued on to Steveston and then back to CSTB, via #6 Road. Dropped Raymundo off at his place at close to 1:30pm or so, and Giorgio shortly thereafter, with about 81K on odometer. It was such a glorious day and I felt so exhilarated, as a direct result, I knew I could easily log over 100K. Used last 20K or so as my cool-down, doing 5K worth of dipsy-doodleage around Kits Point, enjoying leaves and vista of English Bay and then made foe Science World and beyond, turning around at Davie and Marinaside to make for home, arriving just after 3:00pm with 101.33 to show for grand outing. (Please note: 500 furlongs=100.584 km!)

At any rate, I was pleased to drive there, through road which goes through an Indian reservation, as I think it would be a terrific ride, when weather cooperates. (Hadn't been there for years, ever since friends who lived in Deep Cove moved/split-up.) We could meet Big Molly and Marcus Aurelius at Cassiar/Hastings and proceed over Second Narrows. Some good hills and probably not too, too much traffic, depending on time/day of the week. Perhaps you can be persuaded to join this peleton, upon your next return, since you are were than reluctant to attempt the ascent of Seymour! Anyway, always good to expand cycling repertoire.

That night we had friends, Catherine and Matt, over for dinner, together with Sylvia and Ray. We lads had all played singles at VRC in the dim, distant past. Furthernmore, C/M had just returned from New Zealand where they had spent a month touring and following World Cup! I knew Ray would enjoy chatting with Matt about rugby, much like you and Imre and soccer! On that front, we popped into seeing Jim after returning from Deep Cove and received absolutely wonderful news. After his last appointment with his haematologist he was told that his cancer is in remission! He has never looked and appeared so well in many, many months so couldn't be more pleased for him. Of course, he knows this is not a magic bullet but the fact that he can enjoy a fuller life, as long as things last, is gift enough. He asked to be remembered to you both.

We won't be able to watch DA until December when last episode will be aired in preparation for first installment of 2nd series, beginning of January. MI-5 seems to be winding down as well. Bit confusing/difficult to follow, some of the time, as we seem to have a number of episodes out of series' chronological sequence. Still, small potatoes to complain about.

All the best from Coriandre to you both. Cheers, Patrizio!

    Hello Jim!

I'm Patrick Dunn, friend of Ray Banks. He passed along your email address some time ago. My wife and I will fly to Hong Kong on March 5th, 2012, arriving on the 6th, at 7:05pm. We have booked into the YMCA Salisbury Hotel, 41 Salisbury Road, Kowloon, until the 10th. Just wondering if you think that is a good place to stay, relative to cost, sightseeing, etc. We are paying about $136CDN per night so think that is a fairly decent price but really have no idea about hotel rates in HK. There is a free cancellation policy so if you can suggest, whenever you have a moment, something better, in terms of price and/or location, that would be much appreciated.

Just wondering if you might be tin Sydney when we are in city. Ray had said, at one point, that you often travel between HK and Sydney.

Not sure if Ray has mentioned to you, or not, that we have been riding together quite regularly, of late. Anyway, I trust this message finds you well and look forward to hearing from you when convenient. All the best. Cheers, Patrizio!

Pic: Ray and I at the start of one of our rides, (probably around Stanley Park), earlier this past summer.

      • Hi, Patrick!
Finally I have my facebook account!
Looking forward to contacting with you via facebook, too.

        Toshiko

    Hi Toshi!

Trust you are well. Sorry that it has taken me so long to write back but very busy times, currently and ahead, here at The Island Inn!

As I mentioned in my last email, we will be flying to Japan, from Sydney, May 11th, via Hong Kong, to arrive at Narita on Saturday, May 12th at 2:35pm. We leave it up to you to suggest how we should proceed once we've landed. For example, should we stay in Tokyo, or thereabouts, for some time or should we come to where you live? In either case, you will know best what will be easiest for us and most convenient for you. Of course, we'd appreciate specific directions for travel if we need to undertake that part of journey ourselves. Depending on how much time we will spend with you and some of your relatives, should that still be the case, we thought that we'd like to head north to Sapporo sometime, plus or minus, about halfway through our stay. We are scheduled to leave from Narita on Thursday, May 31st, at 11:00am.

Fond regards from both Chloë and Corinne, to you and your Mother, Aunts and Uncles. Look forward to hearing from you. Love and Cheers, Patrizio!

    Hello Adriana and Paul!

Trust all goes well on the deck of the Amara Zee! (In case you don't remember me, I was a volunteer at the VIFF, Cinema Pacifique!) Thought of you and your enterprise when we went to The Penelopiad, at the Stanley, week ago, Friday night. Perhaps Caravan Stage could mount production, since you are on location, so to speak! All the best. Have a cappuccino for me! Cheers, Patrizio!

    Hi Ginette!

Hope you are a bit more settled now. How did your time in Oliver go? We had friends from Naramata staying with us this past Monday and Tuesday. Their small harvest, (they only have a bit more than an acre or so around their house), was even smaller this year as a result of poor weather, according to Peter, the DIY viticulturalist!

Wanted to thank you so much for sending along the pictures of your wedding reception! I must admit I wasn't expecting to see myself as I assumed these were going to be snaps taken in Greece! Hard to believe we were ever so young!
Thanks again for archival photos! Cheers, Patrizio!

    Hi Zoomer and family!

Trust you are all well. Sorry that it has taken me so long to say hello but very busy times, currently and ahead, here at The Island Inn!

Big news for us is that we will be flying to Japan, from Sydney, May 11th, 2012, via Hong Kong, to arrive at Narita on Saturday, May 12th at 2:35pm. We plan to spend some time with Toshi, another ESL boarder, who lives near Osaka. Depending on how much time we will spend with Toshi and some of her relatives, we thought that we'd like to head north to Sapporo sometime, plus or minus, about halfway through our stay, to visit with you, if that might work. We are scheduled to leave from Narita on Thursday, May 31st, at 11:00am but other than that we are relatively flexible. However, please don't worry if timing is not convenient.

Fond regards from both Chloë and Corinne, to you and your family. Look forward to hearing from you. when you have a moment. Cheers, Patrizio!

Pics: Taken last Saturday night. Cora Lee; Cora Lee and Flamin'; Cora Lee, after dinner downstairs, suffering from too much Saki with Maggie trying to comfort her! Our 40th anniversary of meeting, Halloween, October 31st, 1971, in Winnipeg. With Flamin' and Sarge, her husband. We'll travel in Australia with them before coming to Japan by ourselves.

    Hi Ting!

Trust you are well! Been sometime since we've last corresponded but we are finally coming to Hong Kong! Had a wonderful visit with Max, a year ago, this September. He is still working, far too hard in our estimation, but seems to be enjoying life.

Anyway, look forward to hearing from you when you have a moment and do hope we can connect when we visit. Fond regards from Corinne. Cheers, Patrizio!

    Hi TNT!

Trust all goes well. Busy times here, currently and ahead, with all sorts of things, some medical, some travel related. All the best from Coriandre to you both. Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizio!

    Hi Yien and Mike!

Trust all goes well in Bunbury! Busy times here, currently and ahead, with all sorts of things, some medical, some travel related.
Cora Lee is off to Victoria tomorrow, with Robyn, to take in an opera production there. I'll be all alone with Maggie and Chloë! All the best from Coriandre to you both. Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizio!

    Hello Andrew!

Trust you are well. No word since you returned to Toronto! Busy times, currently and ahead, with all sorts of things, some medical, some travel related.

    Hello Lads!

Anyone interested in a ride tomorrow. Forecast looks promising. I suggest a jaunt to Deep Cove but I'm open to other suggestions. Cheers, Il Conduttore!

    Hi Ray!

Really pleased you were able to join us. Chloë won't let me near soup! Thanks very much for that.

No reply fro others yet so will let you know as responses come in. Cheers, Patrizio!
